The Birch Apartment: Morning Light & Great Glen Views

The Birch Apartment is a sanctuary of light and space. Thanks to its unique eastern aspect and large windows, the interior is exceptionally bright, capturing the first light of the Highland dawn. It offers a stunning, unique perspective of Loch Linnhe, looking toward the Corpach Hills and the entrance to the legendary Great Glen.

Like all Duachy properties, the Birch is perfectly equipped for the outdoor enthusiast. It features a spacious, dedicated drying and storage facilities, purposefully designed to handle the demands of the Lochaber climate.

  • Climate-Controlled Drying: A high-capacity dehumidifier ensures that your hiking gear, waterproofs, and sports equipment are restored to perfect condition overnight.

  • Secure Storage: Generous space for the safe storage of mountain bikes, skis, or climbing equipment.

The Cedar Apartment: Sunsets & Ardgour Hill Views

The Cedar Apartment is defined by its enviable South West aspect, specifically positioned to capture the very best of the Highland “Golden Hour.” As the day concludes, guests can enjoy spectacular, uninterrupted sunsets over the water, with views stretching across Loch Linnhe toward the Ardgour Hills

Designed with the Scottish climate in mind, the Cedar features a dedicated, professional-grade drying and storage suite. This spacious facility is the premier solution for guests exploring the “Outdoor Capital,” providing:

  • High-Capacity Climate Control: A powerful dehumidifier and low-energy tumble dryer to ensure your hiking gear, wetsuits, and sports equipment are perfectly dry by morning.

  • Ample Storage: Secure space for bikes, boots, and mountain gear.

On Arrival

You will be greeted with quality fresh towels/linen, fresh milk, biscuits, tea and coffee in your apartment. Essentials like cloths, tea towels and detergents are also provided on arrival.

Every guest receives complimentary membership to the Ben Nevis Leisure Club. Located just a short walk away, you can enjoy full access to the 15-metre heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and gymnasium. It is the ultimate way to unwind after a day of exploration

Sleeping

Both apartments have a double bed, matching solid oak bedside tables, and storage for clothing and other items. Both apartments are fitted with double sofa beds. This allows residents the option of sleeping an additional guests. A cot and high chair are available on request. High quality linen and towels for guests using the sofa bed will be provided at no extra charge.

Kitchen

Both apartments are fitted with well equipped contemporary kitchens with a oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washer dryer machine and microwave (if it’s not in our kitchen please ask and we will get it!).

Private parking

Private off street complemetry parking is provided for all residents in our large car park.

Bike lock up

A secure shelter bike lock up is available for residents which is situated directly out side the apartments. A hose is also available at this location for washing bikes. We also have extensive bike tools that will resolve most bike mechanical problems
